Do I need an account?
No. Free Party Lab requires no account, login, or sign-up. Just open the tool and start using it.
Does it work offline?
Partly. Once a tool has loaded, processing runs entirely on your machine and needs no connection. The site itself is not cached for offline use, so opening a page still requires internet.
What browsers are supported?
Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge—any modern browser with WebGL and Web Audio API support. Mobile browsers (iOS Safari, Chrome Mobile) also work but may have RAM limitations.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, but mobile has less RAM and slower processing. Works best on desktop for large files.
Is there a file size limit?
1 GB per file for the converter, 300 MB for visual generator videos, 700 MB for the analyzer, 50 MB for logos. Below that, your browser's available RAM is the practical limit.
Is my audio data safe?
Yes. All processing happens in your browser on your machine. Files never leave your computer, never sent to any server.
Where are my files stored?
Only on your device. Files stay in your browser's memory during processing. Nothing saved to our servers.
Do you track my activity?
No. Free Party Lab has no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry. We don't log what you convert or analyze.
Is conversion history saved?
No. Each session is independent. Close the tool and nothing is remembered.
What formats does the converter support?
MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, and OGG. Convert between any of these with quality control.
What output quality can I choose?
MP3 supports 128-320 kbps. Others support variable bitrates. Control quality vs file size.
How does the Spectrogram Analyzer work?
Visualizes frequency content over time. Spot lossy transcodes, frequency cutoffs, and quality issues at a glance.
Can I process multiple files at once?
Currently one at a time. Queue multiple files and the tool processes them sequentially.
What Mac/Windows/Linux support?
Works on all platforms via browser. No installation needed.
What RAM do I need?
Minimum 4GB. More RAM = faster processing for large files. 8GB+ recommended.
Is Free Party Lab free?
Yes. Completely free. No paywalls, no premium features, no hidden fees.
Can I use it commercially?
Yes. Use for commercial work, DJing, music production—any purpose without restrictions.
Is it open source?
Not currently, but built on open standards. Transparent about privacy and features.
Is there an API?
Not yet. Currently browser-only. Contact us if you need programmatic access.
How do I report bugs?
Use our contact form at freepartylab.com/contact. Select "Report bug" and describe the issue. We actively work on fixes.
How do I suggest features?
Same contact form—select "Suggest feature" and tell us what you'd like to see.
Where can I find the privacy policy?
All data stays on your device. No data collection means no privacy policy needed, but check our About page for transparency on how we operate.
