This privacy policy is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 GDPR and Spanish data protection law.

2. What Data Do We Collect?

Short answer: Practically none.

Free Party Lab does NOT collect, store, or process personal user data. Specifically:

• Audio files: Remain exclusively on your device. Never sent to servers.
• Browsing data: No analytics tracking, tracking cookies, or telemetry.
• Personal information: We do not request name, email, location, or similar data to use the tools.
• Metadata: Data about your activity (what conversions you perform, what you analyze) is not stored or transmitted.

3. Local Storage (localStorage)

We use browser localStorage only for:

• Language preference: We store your choice (Spanish/English) locally. Stored as freepartylab-lang.

This data:

• Is stored only on your device, not on servers
• Can be deleted anytime by clearing browser cache
• Is not considered personal data under GDPR (it's a technical preference, not identifying)

4. Data Processing

All audio processing occurs 100% in your browser using:

• FFmpeg WASM: WebAssembly compilation of FFmpeg. Runs locally.
• Web Audio API: Standard browser API for audio processing.
• WebGL: Graphics API for spectrogram visualization.

No intermediate servers, proxies, or data transmission. Your file enters and leaves your browser, period.

5. Legal Bases (GDPR)

Since we do not process personal data, GDPR does not apply in our case. This is an advantage for you:

• ✓ We do not need explicit consent to collect data
• ✓ We do not need complicated cookie policies
• ✓ We do not share data with third parties
• ✓ Your privacy is by design

6. Third Parties and Providers

Hosting servers: The site is hosted on Heroku. Heroku may log standard HTTP access (IP, browser, timestamp) for security and maintenance reasons. We do not share user data.

Contact form (Formspree): The contact form is delivered by Formspree. If — and only if — you choose to submit it, the name, email address and message you type are sent to Formspree, which forwards them to us by email. Nothing is sent while you simply read the page, and the tools themselves never use this route. Formspree processes that submission under its own privacy policy.

External resources: None. FFmpeg, fft.js and both brand fonts are served from this site itself, and the Content-Security-Policy permits no external script, style or font host. No CDN receives a request, so no third party sees your IP address while you use the tools.

No data sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertising, analytics, or third-party partners.

7. User Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access: Request access to personal data we hold (we hold none)
• Correction: Correct inaccurate data (not applicable)
• Erasure: Request data deletion (already deleted)
• Portability: Receive data in structured format (not applicable)
• Objection: Object to processing (no processing occurring)

8. Policy Changes

If we implement analytics, advertising, or other data processing in the future, we will update this policy and communicate transparently. Users will be notified before any material changes.
